SQL API

User applications that work with the Vine database get access to a number of stored SQL packages that have procedures for all basic tasks that can be encountered while working with database data. If the application is developed in PL/SQL, these procedures may be called directly, if another programming language is used then a special call interface (like Oracle Call Interface) is needed.
